OUR BACKGROUND

Let’s start by giving you a good understanding of who we are and who we are not.

Athenas Fight Club is not the traditional cardio fitness boxing program that many health clubs now feature. In addition to the intense training sessions that will resemble a professional fighters work out, we are actually going to teach you how to box! Members will learn to throw punches and defend themselves.

BEGINNER FRIENDLY

Why I favor boxing over the other forms of self-defense, is that it is very easy to learn.

There are only 4 basic punches that you need to learn. In a relatively short period of time you will learn how not only to throw a powerful punch, but also to defend from punches being thrown at you. You may take as many boxing orientations as you need.

The training session will include motivational as well as spiritual techniques to strengthen your mind, soul and will be followed by our own custom program of stretching (which is a highly neglected aspect of working out) and resistance band training, that will strengthen your muscles in a therapeutic manner, whereby you do not run the risk of injury that may occur from prolonged weight training.

This will be followed by several rounds of punching our uniquely designed heavy bags, which are filled with water to avoid injury. This will  be done over a professional night club sound system, designed to keep you energized as you strengthen your core and shred calories like you’ve never done before.
